Lazewalk is a step tracker for iPhone. This policy explains exactly what the app touches. In short: your step data never leaves your device. Lazewalk does show a banner ad, and that involves a third party — the details are below.

What Lazewalk accesses

With your explicit permission, Lazewalk reads and writes one type of data through Apple's HealthKit framework:

• Step count (read) — to show today's total and your last seven days inside the app.
• Step count (write) — only when you manually confirm an entry for steps your iPhone did not record.

Lazewalk requests no other health data type, no location, no contacts, no camera, no microphone, and no notifications.

Where your step data goes

Nowhere. Step data is read from and written to HealthKit on your device and stays there. Lazewalk has no backend and no user accounts, and it never transmits your step count, your history, or any other health information. Your health data is never uploaded, shared, sold, or used to target advertising.

Advertising

Lazewalk displays one banner advertisement, served by Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). To deliver and measure those ads, Google receives standard technical information such as a device advertising identifier, your IP address, device type, and whether an ad was seen or tapped.

Two things are worth stating plainly:

• No health or step data is ever shared with Google or any other advertising party. The ad component has no access to HealthKit and receives nothing about your activity.
• Lazewalk does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not track you across other apps or websites, so ads are non-personalised.
